Wisdom
Wisdom begins and ends with God.
In a world filled with opinions, information, and competing voices, Proverbs reminds us that true wisdom has a divine source. Wisdom goes beyond intelligence, education, experience, or human reasoning. Wisdom is a gift that comes from the Lord Himself.
God is the source of knowledge, understanding, and discernment. As we seek Him through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He imparts wisdom that enables us to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.
The wisdom God gives extends beyond knowing facts. It reveals how to apply truth in everyday situations. It teaches us when to speak, when to remain silent, when to act, and when to wait. God’s wisdom helps us see circumstances from Heaven’s perspective rather than being governed solely by our emotions or limited understanding.
James 1:5 echoes this promise, encouraging believers to ask God for wisdom, knowing that He gives generously to those who seek Him. God delights in guiding His children and providing the insight needed for every season of life.
The more we draw near to God, the more His wisdom shapes our thoughts, decisions, and actions. His wisdom becomes a lamp to our feet and a guide for our path.

Am I seeking wisdom from God first, or am I relying primarily upon my own understanding and the opinions of others?
Prayer
Father, thank You for being the source of all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Teach me to seek Your guidance above every other voice. Open my heart to receive Your wisdom and help me apply Your truth in every area of my life. Lead me by Your Spirit and direct my steps according to Your purposes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration
I declare that God is the source of my wisdom. His truth guides my decisions, His understanding shapes my perspective, and His knowledge directs my path. I seek the Lord first and trust His wisdom above my own understanding. As I walk with Him, He grants me discernment, clarity, and wisdom for every season of life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
